Lauren Woods

Lauren is thrilled to expand her role at the clinic by implementing the centre’s pelvic floor program, an innovative service designed specifically for each patient by Dr Woods. Lauren has spent nearly two decades in the healthcare profession as Registered Nurse in America, having gained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Salisbury State University in Maryland. She has worked across the full spectrum of hospital-based women’s and newborn care, including Labour and Delivery, Post-Natal Mother and Baby Unit, High Risk Inpatient Obstetrics, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Well Baby Inpatient Unit. Lauren also has experience in other specialized care areas such as inpatient cystic fibrosis treatment, inpatient clinical research and home-based nursing services across a wide variety of patients. While Lauren enjoyed her former behind the scenes position with the clinic, she’s delighted to be able to draw on her vast experience to be able to work with patients directly once again.
