Mechanical Lumbar and Cervical Traction, Chattanooga Tru-Trac

This in-office treatment gently decompresses the spine to reduce pain and restore mobility.

Mechanical traction uses as a machine to gently stretch the lumbar (lower back) or cervical (neck) regions to free up movement of the spine and relieve any pain in the process. We use the Chattanooga Tru-Tac, the most researched traction device on the market, for a number of conditions including disc problems, migraine, concussion and generalised back and neck pain.

This treatment can be used as a standalone therapy once you have been evaluated by one of our physiotherapists or in conjunction with traditional physiotherapy treatments. After treatment you may be advised to apply moist heat to help ease any stiffness and enhance the results from the traction machine.
