Maggie Henderson
BACP
CounsellorMaggie joins us as a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Maggie works to support people through a wide range of challenges, such as anxiety, low mood, grief, major life events, or simply feeling a bit lost. As an integrative counsellor, she draws from various counselling approaches depending on what works best for the client’s unique needs and goals. Maggie aims to create a warm, kind, and judgment-free space where people can truly be themselves and feel heard. She works to help her clients make sense of what they are facing, feel supported, and ultimately feel more grounded and empowered. Maggie’s clients explore their thoughts and feelings, gain insights into their behavior, and develop strategies for positive change. At the same time we work collaboratively to identify solutions, build coping skills, and strengthen your emotional resilience. In addition to adults, Maggie offers counselling for children (ages 7yrs+) and teenagers, helping them navigate emotional and behavioral challenges.
‘’Whether it’s worries, anger, friendship struggles, or anxiety, counselling can help young people express their feelings and develop healthier habits, boost self-esteem and coping skills, and confidence. Since young people often communicate best through play, storytelling, and other creative methods, therapy sessions often include games and art, depending on their age.’’
