Ian McMillan

Ian has recently joined the Woods Wellness Centre as a part time Patient Service Specialist. His principal role is to support Chad with a current clinical study in relation to neuromuscular electrical stimulation to improve the quality of movement, and the application of TENS for the modulation of pain, along with various adminstrative duties.

Ian is a retired Occupational Therapist with 38 years’ experience in a variety of areas including neurological sciences, work rehabilitation and the management of persistent pain. Most recently he was a senior academic teaching undergraduate and postgraduate occupational therapy students. Ian retired from Queen Margaret University (Edinburgh) in 2018 and is currently an Associate Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and a Member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists.
