Fiona Pagett

Level 3 Personal Trainer

Personal Trainer

Fiona joined our Wellness Centre in June 2025, expanding on her successful private studio in Biggar. Following a successful career in broadcast journalism and corporate communications, she qualified as a Level 3 Personal Trainer in 2011, honoring a lifelong passion for sport and wellbeing. Fiona has worked with all ages, from utilising her experience as a certified Alpine Ski Leader to help primary students learn to ski, to working with the Biggar Rugby Club’s under-18 team, and even helping a 90-year-old woman stay motivated to keep fit.  A non-judgmental approach, combined with a supportive and encouraging manner, has given Fiona a reputation for excellence, especially with clients who are new to fitness or recovering from illness or injury.  Fiona also enjoys part-time work as a valued member of the fitness team at Castle Craig Hospital in Blyth Bridge.

“Personal Training is exactly what it says on the tin – tailored exercise. Every single body is unique. To witness clients who start out with zero body confidence and resultant low self-esteem begin to find their strength, increase mobility, and become empowered through building a functionally fit and capable body is an incredibly rewarding experience. The Woods Wellness Centre is an inspiring vision and adds the opportunity for a fully collaborative approach towards client care. I am delighted I can be part of what is being offered to enable clients to feel strong, move well and live fully.”
